In September 2014 the decision was taken to rename and rebrand our company. The next twelve months we undertook a significant journey that analysed every part of our company, the market we serve and most importantly listened to our stakeholders. We believe that the Confident Guide clearly defines our purpose. We assist and guide our clients through their projects, transforming their IT environments and assisting them to achieve their desired outcomes.
We wanted to celebrate our new name, new brand and international expansion with an amazing event for our clients, people and partners. An event where people not only remembered our new name and logo, but what it stands for.
When you are responsible for such an event, it often all passes in a bit of a blur, however, two weeks on, I can honestly say I am still buzzing and wanted to share my memories of the night we officially launched Natilik.
AN AMAZING VENUE

The Natural History Museum was the perfect venue, a place that encapsulates the evolution of the earth and the journey of the people who live on it. The Earth Hall looked amazing lit up with our new brand colours and if I say so myself, our logo looked like it belonged on the globe.

OUR BRAND FILM

It was a tense moment as we hit play on the first showing of our brand film. How do you encapsulate everything about the new brand in a two minute animation? Rufus Leonard had done a great job and from the round of applause and a couple of hoots, I think it went down well. If you have not had chance to see this, then I encourage you to have a look. https://youtu.be/hfh_jm-kfYQ

AN EXCITING TIME TO BE IN IT

It was a pleasure to have Phil Smith CEO, Cisco UK&I share his views on the IT industry. We have never experienced such a rapid pace of change and with this comes both challenges and opportunity.
ACHIEVE AMAZING THINGS
![]()
Sir Ranulph Fiennes has achieve some amazing things. As our keynote speaker, he captivated everyone with his story of how he became an explorer and left us full of admiration when recounting what challenges he faced and overcame to succeed in his polar expeditions. In these extreme examples Sir Ranulph highlighted the importance of the confident guides that have helped him plan, prepare and achieve his goals.
A TIME TO CELEBRATE
![]()
During the evening I managed to get two minutes with our CEO Mike Danson. We looked at the 400+ people in the Earth Hall and agreed that things could not have gone better.
During his presentation, Mike had thanked everyone for joining us to celebrate the launch of Natilik and in closing, I want to echo that with a big thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday 10th September – it was most definitely an evening that will be remembered.
Gary Coville
Marketing Director, Natilik
